Emily Winfield Martin (The Black Apple) does amazing paintings, and we're excited to have a few of them as prints.

This piece is from her show The Deep Green Sea at the Land Gallery.

She says about this piece, “One of my favourite things in all the world are sea monsters, ancient & cryptozoological alike (lake monsters aren't too shabby, either.) This scene depicts a brave ship's attempt to snare one, and it didn't go terribly well.”

Expertly printed with an 11-ink fade-resistant colour process on a smooth, enhanced archival matte paper creating rich blacks and vibrant colours by the Land Gallery in Portland, Oregon.
