Spinning Dress by Émile et Ida

I absolutely adore this dress. I bought this sweet dress for my youngest daughter to match her big sister's. This piece is truly lovely and the details are what make this dress stand out. The top two buttons have embroidered flowers (or cherries, my daughter says), and the pattern and colour of the fabric are beautiful. My little girl is about a size 3 in this dress, but I sized up only because I wanted it to last as long as possible! I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

I have loved this dress (and so has my daughter) since Maude Kids brought it in a few months ago. I finally decided to invest in this beautiful and timeless piece, and I'm so glad I did! This lightweight cotton dress is lined, and we will wear it through several seasons with layering in cooler weather. My daughter has the Emile et Ida Sleeveless Cardigan in the rose colour which pairs beautifully with this dress. As for sizing, my daughter will be in a size 11/12 for at least another year, and while this brand can have smaller sizing, I found that the size 12 in this dress has a generous cut and fits like a true 11/12. When she outgrows the dress, it will be a very sweet tunic! I'm happy every time I look at it, and I can't wait to give it to my daughter for her birthday!
